Waxing
Waxing is a great alternative to shaving. If you experience razor burn or ingrown hairs, this is the answer. Anyone can take advantage of waxing. Men find it is great for those hard to reach places like your back and shoulders and it is also great for teen girls just beginning to shave. Actually, if teens start waxing before shaving their chances of not having unwanted hair in their adolescence is increased by 80-95%!
Waxing FAQ's
Q: I heard that if you wax your hair will grow back darker.
A: No! In fact within the first couple of sessions you will notice that your hair becomes lighter and finer.
Q: Does waxing Hurt?
A: Depending on your pain tolerance and what you are getting waxed, most of the time if feels like a band aid being pulled off, but with the proper techniques of a professional esthetician, pain is minimal. Some clients choose to take an aspirin 35 minutes before their appointment or for more sensitive parts. Others choose to use a topical cream called "Emla Cream" which can be found over the counter. This will numb the area.
Q: How long will my waxing last for?
A: Depending on what you were doing for your hair removal regime before or which area you are focusing on, your waxing can last between 3-8 weeks.
