Therapeutic

Massage therapy is a safe and effective treatment for many musculoskeletal injuries or dysfunctions. With various techniques, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and myofascial release, massage can help to relieve pain and promote healing. The effects and benefits of therapeutic massage do not end with your treatment session. You will be given advice on self-care techniques that you can use at home to help prolong the benefits of your treatment and help to limit reoccurrence of the symptoms you may be experiencing.

Relaxation

Regular massage therapy is also extremely beneficial even if there is no specific complaint. Relaxation massage helps to improve circulation, prevent injury, promote a restful sleep as well as maintain an overall sense of well being.

Pregnancy

Pregnancy massage is a beautiful experience for mom-to-be. Performed in a comfortable pillowed side-lying position, sessions address any muscular discomfort mom may be experiencing and also promote relaxation.

The above sessions are priced as follows:

90 minutes $115

60 minutes $75

45 minutes $ 65

30 minutes $46

Aromatherapy

Enhance your relaxation massage with the addition of essential oils. Aroma is added to the massage oil as well as diffused throughout the room to enhance relaxation. There are four beautiful blends to choose from.

90 minutes $120

60 minutes $80

30 minutes $50

Heated Stone Massage

The deep penetrating heat of warmed beach stones enhance the benefit of Swedish massage therapy. Often recommended for those who have significant muscle tension and prefer lighter pressure or those who love heat and deep relaxation.

90 minutes $130

60 minutes $90

30 minutes $ 60

Please note: Heated Stone Massage is NOT covered by insurance.

Paraffin

The Paraffin hand and foot treatment is an excellent addition to any massage session. As well as feeling great, the deep heat of the paraffin can ease joint pain and even help in the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome.

Using your insurance

Most extended health care plans cover all or a portion of the cost of massage therapy treatments. A receipt is provided with which you can contact your insurance company for reimbursement. A physician’s referral is generally required. We offer direct billing for Medavie Blue Cross and Great West Life policy holders. Depending on your coverage details,  a portion of your treatment cost may be due upfront.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have more questions about direct billing.
